About Stu:
Stu grew up in Virginia Beach, Virginia, fishing the Chesapeake Bay and the inlets in the area mostly for drum, cobia, trout, stripers, and spade fish on the fly. He moved to Avon, North Carolina 15 years ago and fell in love with what North Carolina has to offer for inshore flats fishing. He started fly fishing and fly tying 25 years ago. He target redfish, trout, houndfish, bluefish, and sheepshead, depending on the season. At least 3 of those species are available to target on any given day. Stu runs an 18’ Mako flats skiff with a 90hp.
